ANNOUNCEMENTS AND HAPPENINGS

Small Groups...These meetings are not listed on the calendar, but they actively continue to meet in the background. We have Small Groups that meet on Sunday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday on various dates during the month. See Jay Lovelace for more information about each group if you’ve been thinking about joining a study group. 

Week of December 15-21

Ladies Fellowship Breakfast, Dec. 21…This ministry meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Panera Bread on 254 E Rollins Road in Round Lake Beach. Meet at 8:30 a.m. on December 21 for fellowship time. Feel free to purchase coffee/breakfast as you arrive.

Week of December 22-28

Christmas Eve Service…Our traditional candlelight service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24. Come worship together and light a candle for Jesus, the Light of the world.

Week of December 29-January 4

Cookies & Cocoa, Dec. 29...Please join us on Sunday, December 29 at 9:00 a.m. as we enjoy cookies and cocoa/coffee on the final Sunday of 2024. Our regular Worship Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Also, please note there will be no Children's Church on this date. Happy New Year!

Men’s Breakfast, Jan. 4…All men are encouraged to join us for our monthly meeting—for a light breakfast, time in prayer, and fellowship. We will meet at the church at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4.

Identity Youth Group, Jan. 3-5…Camp Timber-lee Retreat: no Identity Youth Group on Sunday, January 5. Parents, see John or Rebecca Tate if you have any last-minute questions about the retreat.

Week of January 5-11

Ladies Bible Study, Jan. 8…The Ladies Bible Study, called “God of Covenant,” is a 10-session study by Jan Wilkin. This class meets every other Wednesday night at the church at 6:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Becky Martens.

Communion…

Identity Youth Group, Jan. 12…This group will meet at the church from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. All teens are encouraged to come enjoy a fun time together as well as study the Word of God.

Informed Choices Presentation, Jan. 19…Observance of Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is on January 19. We will celebrate the value of God’s Creation with a visit from Informed Choices and the kick-off of their annual Baby Bottle Campaign.
